I am a fourth-generation lawyer in a family of lawyers who have practiced in Blair County since the 1870s. My undergraduate degree is in history from Villanova University (1980) and my law degree is from Seton Hall University School of Law (1984). I have been practicing law in Blair and surrounding counties since 1984. Although through my career I have had experience in many other areas of the law, I now focus my practice on wills and estate planning, elder law, estate administration, residential and commercial real estate matters, and non-profit and for-profit business matters. My office hours are shared between the firm's Altoona office (Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday) and its satellite office in Martinsburg (Monday and Wednesday). I am a title agent for Old Republic National Title Company and an approved attorney for Penn Attorneys Title Company. In my real estate practice, I have represented many mortgage lenders as well residential and commercial buyers and borrowers. Through my estate practice, my experience has not only been with the probate process and the resulting estate administration, but also guardianships for senior and challenged individuals and with the assistance of financial planners and certified public accountants, transition planning for family-owned businesses. I have served as a speaker for National Business Institute on the topics of trusts, the probate process, and title law in Pennsylvania. Since July 1988, I have served as solicitor to the Domestic Relations Section of Blair County. Among my professional affiliations are the Pennsylvania Bar Association, American Bar Association, American Land Title Association, Pennsylvania Land Title Association, and National Diocesan Attorneys Association.
